The Portraiture Process

Complimentary Consultation
Our photo session begins with a complimentary phone call. We will go over your vision, share a few ideas, and determine if we’re a good fit for what you want to achieve.

Pre-Session Planning
As we delve more into planning, we’ll go select your location, look and feel of your images, wardrobe, props (if applicable), hair/makeup ideas. We will come up with a mood board of your vision.

Shoot Day
This is a day to pamper yourself. You will arrive at my studio for hair and makeup with a professional hair and makeup artist, if you have selected that option. We will make sure your wardrobe is in the best shape possible for your photo shoot. During our shoot, we’ll periodically review images to make sure we’re going in the direction you want, and to show you how amazing our photos are!

Proof Selection
Soon after your session, you will receive a private gallery of proofs to review and sign off on for final processing.

Image Post-Production
I will lovingly process your images according to my exacting standards.

Final Images Are Ready!
You will receive .jpg files of your final images, in print and web resolution.
